Missouri High School Softball - Platte County bounces Winnetonka

Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 19-7 record. They take the field next when they host Smithville for a Class 3 District 15 challenge on Saturday, October 14. Platte County will face a Warriors squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over St. Teresa's Academy (Kansas City, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 11-13.
With the loss, Winnetonka falls to 11-13 on the campaign.
