In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bellevue Comets.
The Golden Hawks (28-9) will now prepare for their battle against Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 21-7 record. In their last battle, Monticello achieved victory over Camanche (Camanche, IA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Comets clash with the West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 13. Bellevue will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record. The Comets come into the battle with a 28-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Beckman (Dyersville, IA).
