The Eagles go into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, OR).

With the loss, South Umpqua moves to 9-7 on the year. The Lancers travel to Days Creek (Days Creek, OR) to face the Wolves in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 14. The Wolves go into the contest with a record of 12-7. Days Creek won 3-2 in their recent league contest against New Hope Christian (Grants Pass, OR)
