In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Wolcott Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Crosby Bulldogs.
The Eagles (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT). The Greyhounds come into the Naugatuck Valley battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Naugatuck achieved victory over Wilby (Waterbury, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley battle, on Friday, October 13. Crosby will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 12-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, CT).
