In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Douglas Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hot Springs Bison.

The Patriots (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lemmon (Lemmon, SD). The Cowboys come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Lemmon defeated New England (New England, ND), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
