Colorado High School Volleyball - Genoa-Hugo/Karval can't hold off Idalia

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Idalia Wolves volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Genoa-Hugo/Karval Pirates.

The Wolves (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kit Carson (Kit Carson, CO). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Kit Carson nudged Granada (Granada, CO), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO) in a 2A/1A Union Pacific battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Genoa-Hugo/Karval will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Miami-Yoder (Rush, CO).
