West Virginia High School Volleyball - Lewis County tips Gilmer County

October 12, 2023: Glenville, WV 26351

The Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) volleyball tipped the host Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lewis County upgrades its record to 15-12 on the year. The Minutemen host Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to face the Buccaneers in a Big Ten outing on Tuesday, October 17. The Buccaneers go into the outing with a record of 9-16.

The Titans now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Parkersburg South for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 14. Gilmer County will face a Patriots squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 12-10.
