Iowa High School Volleyball - South Tama County edged by Independence

The Independence Mustangs held off the host South Tama County Trojans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 15-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roland-Story for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. Independence will confront a Norsemen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Boone (Boone, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 23-11.
The Trojans (11-20) will now prepare for their test against Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 13-24 record. In their last test, Benton held off Grinnell (Grinnell, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
