Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Seahawks battle the Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 16. Sussex Academy will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Ducks come into the match with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE).

With the loss, Lake Forest drops to 6-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Milford (Milford, DE) to battle the Buccaneers in a Henlopen South match on Tuesday, October 17. The Buccaneers come into the match with a record of 3-7. Milford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE)
