In Thursday's league battle, the host Naugatuck Greyhounds volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wilby Wildcats.
The Greyhounds (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wolcott (Wolcott, CT). The Eagles come into the Naugatuck Valley battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Wolcott achieved victory over Crosby (Waterbury, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley battle, on Friday, October 13. Wilby will attempt to advance on its 0-13 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 2-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT).
