The Pocahontas Indians topped the visiting West Bend-Mallard Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Indians now have a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Fork for a non-league test on Monday, October 16. Pocahontas will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 6-21.

The Wolverines (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Titans enter the Twin Lakes test with a 3-23 record. In their last test, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire was knocked off by Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
