In Thursday's non-league battle, the host University Christian Christians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the San Jose Prep Storm.
The Christians (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, FL). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, St. Johns Country Day lost by Harvest Community (Jacksonville, FL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Storm clash with the Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 16. San Jose Prep will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 8-17 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL).
