The Carmel Greyhounds flag football squad scored 32 points and limited the visiting Southport Cardinals to 28 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin Central for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Carmel will meet a Flashes squad coming off a 55-26 non-league win over Whiteland (Whiteland, IN). The Flashes record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Southport drops to 3-1 on the campaign.
