The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bayside Commodores (Bayside, NY) and the visiting Roosevelt Cougars (Brooklyn, NY), witnessed Bayside's football squad wallop Roosevelt by a tally of 34-0.
The Commodores (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against John Adams (Ozone Park, NY). The Spartans enter the PSAL 3A contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, John Adams was trounced by Lehman (Bronx, NY), 16-10, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Flushing Red Devils (Flushing, NY) in a PSAL 3A contest, on Saturday, October 19. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Red Devils enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 30-12 league loss to Bryant (Queens, NY).
