Ohio High School Football - Concord thwarted by Holgate

October 12, 2024: Holgate, OH 43527

Holgate Tigers (Holgate, OH) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI), 60-32 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Holgate improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH) to play the Eagles in a Northern 8 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Toledo Christian won 50-8 in their recent league battle against Danbury (Lakeside, OH)

The Yellowjackets now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Lenawee Christian for a Southern Central - White (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. Concord will play a Cougars team coming off a 62-16 non-league win over Waldron (Waldron, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
