The Salesianum Sallies felled the host William Penn Colonials football team by a score of 30-13 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Sallies play the Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Salesianum will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 49-0 league win over St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE).

The Colonials (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Cavaliers go into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Middletown toppled Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE), 42-20, in a league challenge.
