The St. John's Pioneers football squad scored 30 points and limited the host St. John's Prep Eagles to 20 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pioneers now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catholic Memorial for a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. St. John's will meet a Knights squad coming off a 35-20 league loss to Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, St. John's Prep drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Malden Catholic (Malden, MA) to meet the Lancers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Malden Catholic won 34-8 in their recent non-league test against Boston College High (Boston, MA)
