The Starpoint Spartans football squad scored 13 points and limited the host Kenmore West Blue Devils to 12 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sweet Home for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. Starpoint will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 36-7 non-league win over North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Kenmore West drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY) to meet the Lumberjacks in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 0-2. North Tonawanda lost 36-7 in their recent non-league test against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY)
