The Roosevelt Roughriders football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Pomona Panthers to 20 in the Roughriders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Roughriders now hold a 2-2 record.

With the defeat, Pomona drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Severance (Severance, CO) to meet the Silver Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Silver Knights come into the test with a record of 1-2. Severance lost 45-0 in their recent non-league test against Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO)
