The Austin Prep Cougars soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Marianapolis Prep Golden Knights to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gould Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, October 14. Austin Prep will play a Huskies squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Hyde (Bath, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Marianapolis Prep moves to 5-4 on the year. The Golden knights host Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA) to play the Penguins in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 16. The Penguins go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Cushing Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Brewster Academy National (Wolfeboro, NH)
