In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Sparks Railroaders soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Damonte Ranch Mustangs.

The Railroaders (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hug (Reno, NV). The Hawks go into the 5A Northern - High Desert outing with a 11-0 record. In their last outing, Hug got by Reed (Sparks, NV), 3-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a 5A Northern - Sierra outing, on Wednesday, October 16. Damonte Ranch will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Senators go into the outing with a 6-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
