Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Neshannock advances its record to 9-4 on the campaign.
The Hornets now have a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Greenville for a District 10 Region 2 test on Monday, October 14. Hickory will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-6.
