Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) and the host Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV), saw Point Pleasant's soccer squad hold off Robert C. Byrd by a count of 2-1.
The Big Blacks (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Cabell Midland tipped Musselman (Inwood, WV), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
