In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ankeny Christian Academy volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Ames Little Cyclones.
The (31-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks enter the non-league challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Moravia was beaten by Wayne (Corydon, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Little Cyclones meet the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Ames will attempt to upgrade on its 15-15 season record. The Gaels enter the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA).
