Michigan High School Volleyball - Mt. Pleasant over Anchor Bay

The Mt. Pleasant Oilers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Anchor Bay Tars to 0 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Oilers now have a 17-13 record. They play next when they host Lapeer for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. Mt. Pleasant will play a Lightning team coming off a 3-1 league win over Heritage (Saginaw, MI). The Lightning record now stands at 19-6.

With the loss, Anchor Bay drops to 11-10 on the campaign. The Tars travel to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI) to play the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 7-13. Grand Blanc lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI)
