In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ballard Bombers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Clarinda Cardinals.
The Bombers (15-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Indianola (Indianola, IA). The Indians enter the challenge with a 26-4 record. In their last challenge, Indianola beat Pella (Pella, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Fort Dodge Dodgers (Fort Dodge, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Clarinda will attempt to upgrade on its 26-8 season record. The Dodgers enter the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ames (Ames, IA).
