Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) and the host New Life Academy Eagles (Woodbury, MN), observed Benilde-St. Margaret's's volleyball team hold off New Life Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Red Knights (17-14) will now prepare for their contest against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Hutchinson got by Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN) in a Skyline contest, on Tuesday, October 15. New Life Academy will attempt to move on its 16-9 season record. The Beacons enter the contest with a 16-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN).
