The Catawba Ridge Copperheads edged the host Bluffton Bobcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Copperheads face the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 12. Catawba Ridge will attempt to advance on its 13-13 season record. The Cyclones go into the game with a 20-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC).
The Bobcats (13-19) will now prepare for their game against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops go into the AAAA Region 7 game with a 25-9 record. In their last game, Bishop England nudged Beaufort (Beaufort, SC), 3-0, in a league game.
