In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Boys Town Cowboys.

The Eagles (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Auburn (Auburn, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 12-10 record. In their last challenge, Auburn lost by Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys play the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Boys Town will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE).
