With the win, Porter-Gaud improves its record to 23-12 on the season.

The Copperheads now own a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Hill for a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Tuesday, October 15. Catawba Ridge will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clover (Clover, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 11-10.
