The Cardinals (26-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Indianola (Indianola, IA). The Indians come into the challenge with a 26-4 record. In their last challenge, Indianola beat Pella (Pella, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dodgers play the Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Fort Dodge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 15-12 record after their 2-0 league loss to Indianola (Indianola, IA).
