Kansas High School Volleyball - Santa Fe Trail tips Council Grove

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Santa Fe Trail Chargers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Council Grove Braves.

The Chargers (26-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clearwater (Clearwater, KS). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Clearwater got by Rose Hill (Rose Hill, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Braves meet the Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Council Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-18 season record. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a 10-18 record after their 2-0 league loss to Rock Creek (St. George, KS).
