The Wethersfield Flying Geese volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting East Moline United Panthers to 0 in the Flying Geese non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Flying Geese now have a 24-6 record. They play next when they travel to Abingdon/Avon for a Lincoln Trail outing on Monday, October 14.

With the loss, East Moline United drops to 3-24 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sterling (Sterling, IL) to play the Golden Warriors in a Western Big 6 outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Golden Warriors come into the outing with a record of 17-9. Sterling lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Rock Island (Rock Island, IL)
