In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Edina Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the John Marshall Rockets.
The Hornets (14-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Waconia (Waconia, MN). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 17-5 record. In their last challenge, Waconia beat Chaska (Chaska, MN), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Rockets play the Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-24 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Burnsville (Burnsville, MN).
