In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting West Valley Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Edison Tigers.

The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hollister (Hollister, CA). The Haybalers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Hollister lost by Folsom (Folsom, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA).
