California High School Volleyball - University over Granite Hills

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host University Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Granite Hills Cougars.
The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Portola (Irvine, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Pacific Hills challenge with a 15-8 record. In their last challenge, Portola beat Woodbridge (Irvine, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Granite Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 18-12 record after their 3-1 league win over La Quinta (La Quinta, CA).
