In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Immanuel Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Stonewall Jackson Generals.

The Warriors (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wakefield School (The Plains, VA). The Fighting Owls enter the non-league challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Wakefield School was tipped by Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Generals meet the Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA) in a Bull Run challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Stonewall Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
