The Markesan Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Johnson Creek Bluejays to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now have a 6-23 record. They play next when they travel to Oakfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. Markesan will play a Oaks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hustisford (Hustisford, WI). The Oaks record now stands at 10-7.
