In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Johnston Dragons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Wilton Beavers.

The Dragons (15-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams come into the challenge with a 11-21 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Polk was nudged by Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Beavers play the Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Wilton will attempt to upgrade on its 26-5 season record. The Regals come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA).
