In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host La Crescent Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Prairie du Chien Blackhawks.

The Lancers (8-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Cotter (Winona, MN). The Ramblers enter the Three Rivers challenge with a 19-4 record. In their last challenge, Cotter was beaten by Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blackhawks meet the Mondovi Buffaloes (Mondovi, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Prairie du Chien will attempt to upgrade on its 5-20 season record. The Buffaloes enter the challenge with a 7-19 record after their 3-1 league win over Colfax (Colfax, WI).
