Alaska High School Volleyball - Mountain City Christian Academy tips Monroe Catholic

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK), observed Mountain City Christian Academy's volleyball team hold off Monroe Catholic by a count of 2-1.

The Lions (14-17) will now prepare for their contest against Sitka (Sitka, AK). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 27-9 record. In their last contest, Sitka got by Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK), 1-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rams battle the Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Monroe Catholic will attempt to move on its 15-18 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 26-9 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK).
