In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Pike Liberal Arts Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Samson Tigers.
The Patriots (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Andalusia (Andalusia, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Andalusia beat Charles Henderson (Troy, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers play the Houston County Lions (Columbia, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Samson will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record.
