The Russellville Cyclones volleyball squad (Russellville, AR), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Southside Mavericks (Fort Smith, AR)

With the win, Southside improves its record to 25-4 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Central (Little Rock, AR) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 17-3. Central won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Cabot (Cabot, AR)

The Cyclones now own a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmington for a 5A West battle on Tuesday, October 15. Russellville will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Siloam Springs (Siloam Springs, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-5.
