With the win, Taft improves its record to 33-7 on the season. The Toreadors travel to Jurupa Valley (Jurupa Valley, CA) to face the Jaguars in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 19-5. Jurupa Valley won 3-0 in their recent league test against Ramona (Riverside, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 21-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Whitney will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA). The Chiefs record now stands at 25-4.
