The Poland Tornadoes soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting DeRuyter Rockets to 0 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Sunday.
The Tornadoes now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Waterville for a CSC Division II bout on Tuesday, October 14.
With the loss, DeRuyter moves to 6-4 on the year. The Rockets travel to Stockbridge Valley (Munnsville, NY) to face the Indians in a CCL game on Wednesday, October 15. The Indians enter the game with a record of 2-3. Stockbridge Valley won 9-1 in their recent league game against Brookfield Central (Brookfield, NY)
