The Unity Reed Lions football team (Manassas, VA), was knocked off 23-7 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA)
The Bobcats (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA). The Yellowjackets come into the Western challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Osbourn Park was knocked off by Freedom (South Riding, VA), 15-0, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gainesville for a Western challenge on Friday, October 21. Unity Reed will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 49-14 league loss to John Champe (Aldie, VA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-5.
