The Opelousas Catholic Vikings topped the host Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets football team by a final score of 30-8 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Opelousas Catholic improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to North Central (Lebeau, LA) to confront the Hurricanes in a 1A District 6 outing on Friday, October 21. The Hurricanes go into the outing with a record of 3-4. North Central lost 35-32 in their recent league outing against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA)

With the loss, Catholic of Pointe Coupee moves to 6-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to St. Edmund (Eunice, LA) to confront the Fighting Blue Jays in a 1A District 6 outing on Friday, October 21. The Fighting Blue Jays go into the outing with a record of 4-3. St. Edmund lost 30-17 in their recent league outing against Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA)
