In Thursday's league match, the host Pyramid Lake Lakers football squad scored a close 30-28 victory over the Coleville Wolves.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a 1A West (8 Man) match, on Saturday, October 22. Pyramid Lake will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 54-14 league loss to Virginia City (Virginia City, NV).

The Wolves (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV). The Falcons enter the 1A West (8 Man) match with a 0-5 record.
