Oklahoma High School Football - Hilldale overwhelms Sallisaw

October 13, 2022: Sallisaw, OK 74955

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK) and the host Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK), observed Hilldale's football squad bounce Sallisaw by a count of 49-0.

The Hornets now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Broken Bow for a 4A District 4 contest on Friday, October 21. Hilldale will encounter a Savages squad coming off a 1015-0 league loss to Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Savages record now stands at 5-2.

Coming up next, the Black Diamonds encounter the Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) in a 4A District 4 contest, on Friday, October 21. Sallisaw will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 1015-0 league win over Broken Bow (Broken Bow, OK).
