Oklahoma High School Football - Sequoyah smashes Nowata

October 13, 2022: Claremore, OK 74017

The Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) football routed the visiting Nowata Ironmen (Nowata, OK), 51-6 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Pawhuska Huskies (Pawhuska, OK) in a 2A District 8 bout, on Friday, October 21. Sequoyah will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 56-6 league win over Salina (Salina, OK).

The Ironmen (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK). The Eagles enter the 2A District 8 battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Rejoice Christian bounced Vinita (Vinita, OK), 55-28, in a league battle.
